Taman Ujung Karangasem or often called by the name of Taman Sukasada is one of the tourist attractions in eastern Bali are very rarely known by domestic tourists. Taman Ujung Sukasada was built by the king of Karangasem, called I Gusti Bagus Jelantik, with the title of Agung Anglurah Ketut Karangasem. Taman Ujung Sukasada was built in 1901 with the name of Dirah pond which means a pool of dumping place for people who master black magic.

Then in 1909, the king of Karangasem ordered the architecture of Dutch origin named Van Den Hentz and arsiterktur from China named Loto Ang to develop the pool Dirah into the resting place of the king of Karangasem. In addition to being built by the two architectures, the construction of Taman Ujung Sukasada is also assisted by the architecture of the kingdom of Karangasem.

In addition to being a resting place from the king of Karangasem, Taman Ujung Sukasada is also used by the king as a place to meditate and a place to entertain guests from the kingdom of Karangasem. The construction of Taman Ujung Sukasada was completed in 1921.
